Trauma Aware

Emotionally Honest

“You don’t have to navigate this alone—change is possible, and it can start right now.”

You’ve learned how to show up for others—how to work hard, push through, lead, and perform. Maybe you’ve built a life that, from the outside, looks full. But inside? You might feel like you’re constantly “on,” like slowing down feels unfamiliar or even unsafe. Often, these patterns began long ago, in childhood homes where emotional attunement wasn’t modeled or in environments that rewarded self-denial and discouraged vulnerability

Meet rivkah

Rivkah is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who supports those facing struggles in their relationships, marriages, and within themselves. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Narrative Therapy, Rivkah helps clients recognize and break out of unhelpful patterns, strengthen their relationships, and heal the emotional wounds that get in the way of connection and trust. With warmth and clinical insight, she creates a space where clients can reconnect with themselves and each other—and begin to build the relationships they’ve longed for.

rivkah's Approach
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) guides us in understanding and processing our emotions to foster secure and meaningful connections. Together, we explore the patterns in how you experience and respond to feelings, cultivating clarity, balance, and insight. Through this work, we support the deepening of your relationships and the development of lasting emotional resilience.

The Gottman Method helps us map out relationship dynamics and focuses on strengthening connection with your partner. Together, we build communication skills, resolve conflicts more effectively, and foster deeper trust, intimacy, and lasting satisfaction.

Group therapy provides a supportive environment where you can connect with others navigating similar challenges. Together, we explore emotions, share experiences, and practice new ways of relating in a safe and guided space. This process fosters insight, accountability, and a sense of connection that strengthens personal growth and resilience.

FAQ

How do I know which therapist is right for me?
You don’t have to figure that out alone. We take time to get a feel for who you are and what kind of connection will help you open up and grow. Matching people well is something we’re known for — and if it doesn’t feel right, we’ll talk about it and find the person who does.
That’s completely okay. The fit between you and your therapist matters more than anything else. If at any point you feel someone else on our team might be a better match, you can reach out to us support@corerelationships.com and our intake coordinator will reach out to initiate a smooth transition. Our goal is for you to get the care that feels right for you — even if that means working with another therapist here.
Therapy at Core isn’t about getting advice — it’s about getting to the heart of why things feel stuck, so the answers start to come from within you. We help you slow down, notice what’s really happening underneath, and make sense of it together.
At times, we’ll offer guidance or a new way of seeing something, but the goal isn’t to direct your life — it’s to help you trust your own voice and move through relationships with more clarity, confidence, and calm.

We’re not here to bandage the symptoms. We’re here to stop the bleeding—for good.
