True growth begins when you feel safe, seen, and genuinely accepted. My goal is to create a space that feels warm and authentic, where you can explore your story without judgment. Together, we'll go beyond just surviving - tapping into tools that help you build lasting connections, heal from past wounds, and move into a more fulfilling life with greater resilience and purpose.

Meet Bassy

Bassy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Core Relationships. She holds advanced certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has spent her career working at the intersection of attachment, trauma, and the inherited patterns that quietly shape the way we love and connect.

Her work centers on a single conviction: most of what feels broken in a person was handed down, not made. That belief shapes everything about how she shows up in a session, direct, warm, and willing to go to the places that are actually hard, rather than the ones that are simply uncomfortable.

Bassy works with couples navigating disconnection, emotional distance, and the particular grief of feeling alone inside a relationship. She also works with individuals who are tired of repeating the same patterns and want to understand why, not just manage the symptoms, but trace things back to where they started and build something genuinely different.

Outside the clinical framework, she brings humor, honesty, and a sharp eye for the moment when someone is about to say the true thing and stops themselves. That moment is usually where the real work begins.

Approach

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps clients understand and process emotion in ways that support secure, meaningful connection and lasting emotional resilience.

Somatic

Somatic work uses the body's natural responses to stress and trauma to support healing, regulate the nervous system, and create greater emotional steadiness.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy helps uncover the deeper patterns shaping thoughts, feelings, and relationships so clients can heal what has been hidden and relate differently in the present.
